Default Statistics on Gays in Ministry

Friends,

I'm working with some friends on an important project. It would be real helpful to know a source for statistics on the number of LGBT persons in the ordained ministry--or maybe statistics on the numbers expelled from the ministry.

Anyone know of a source of quantitative data?

Default Getting those kinds of numbers will be difficult

Well you can add me to the expelled list but that is more like narrative evidence than hard statistics. There is this letter signed by 75 UMC clergy who are LGBT:

The number of signatures is now up to 96.

These signatures were taken under attorney-client privacy to protect their ministries. Perhaps you could do some statistical voodoo and come up with a number.
