Anyone out there hit by the storm that dumped two feet of snow on Sat? I am SO jealous! We got a whopping 3 inches this winter here in NC.

I didn't... but I think Missouri got hit.

There's a woman who rents from us.. and he main home is in Missouri, she didn't go home this weekend and she usually does.. so I think she most of had a lot of snow at home.

Default Did someone say snow?

We had three inches here too, yesterday morning. That on top of the mountains already here.

Snow has been on the ground since the last of November and there is no sign that it is going to stop. I like winters with lots of snow but not so cold. This year we have had lot of snow and very cold. I'm waiting for that global warming; when is it going to get here?

Here is a picture of my house. I am going to have to get out the snowshovel and chop a path to the house. My parents are coming over; they can't climb over the snowbanks like I have been doing. The snow is hard and crusty. I can walk over the top. (At least 95% of the time; there is that occasional time one breaks through and falls in up to the waist.)

WOW!!!! I wouldn't want to live in that, but I'd love to visit! I imagine it probably sucks, but it looks incredible!

...and yeah, I imagine your parents probably can't climb that.

Default Beautiful, Pablo!!

What a view! As long as we didn't have to worry about getting to work every day, I think we would love to live there in tranquility and snow!!!!! I got emails from a friend in Ohio and upstate New York, and both got clobbered over the weekend. I was so oblivious, I had no idea there was big storms over the weekend! Our snow on the ground is gone, but I am grateful because I am ready for SPRING!!!!!!

Oh My GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I saw the first couple posts I thought: There's snow????

Pabs, I can only suspect you and I live on different planets. My God, snow in March??

Where's the global warming? Heheh - come spend summer at our house and I'll show you global warming!

Fwiw: it's 81 here today. That reminds me, I should snap some photos of the cactus in the front yard.

81 degrees!!?? Just have to rub it in, don't you, Zerbie.
You have a dark side, I see. While your at it, why don't you give me a paper cut and pour lemon juice on it!

The thermometer says 2 degrees right now.
You don't really live all that far away. I think I'm heading southwest for a visit. (If the car will start.)

Wow... in a sense we have perfect weather here in WA... blue skies and 44 degrees (although it feels colder)... everyone should come visit here!

Meep. No, I just thought warm weather in March was normal. I've lived in warmish places for so long. 12 years now - before Phoenix I lived in Houston, and march is on the warm side there too, usually. One year we had "arctic cold" descend on Houston in March. Dipped under 30 degrees. Front page news all week.

Anyway - THIS is the time of year when Phoenix weather is actually beautiful. I'm surprised it has lasted 2 weeks already. We usually have something like a couple months of cold, a few days of beautiful, and then, like, seven months of unbearable heat-stroke inducing danger.

Rest assured, I'm going to be desperate to be somewhere else within about 2.5 months.
