Default Anxious to see my Soulforce friends at the 10 year reunion

The 10 year annivesary Soulforce reunion is getting closer and closer. I plan to be there. My history with Soulforce involves only one action and that was the Episcopal Convention in Denver. I was living in Denver then. I am no longer there. I am now living in the Dallas area - 10 minutes away from DFW.
Today, I learned by accident where the hotel that we are meeting at is. I rode a TRE train to downtown FW and saw the hotel from the Centreport station. The word Centreport jumped out at me and I thought that could be the SF hotel.
So, I plan to take a shuttle bus from DFW to the hotel. I can't drive because my husband will be at work when I get home from work. It will be easy for me to get from my home to DFW by bus.
Will anybody be flying in on American Airlines? Coincidentally, my husband works for AA. I am hoping that I can connect with someone at DFW.

I'm coming in on American actually, but coming in on Thursday. We'll be looking for help back at the hotel, after our Friday Transgenders in the Park presentation, so perhaps you'd like to join us back there. However, my understanding is that the shuttle is ONLY for those who are registered at the hotel, so I don't think you'd be able to use it.

Make sure you check the updated schedule so you know all the fabulous things we have planned. The Denver action was one of the few I missed, because I had a job back then.

Well, I have rearranged my work schedule so I can leave super early Friday. I plan to take my husband to work so I can get the car. I am happy that the hotel is only 5 miles away from me. I know that I can find it. I am still learning my way around in spite of the fact that I lived in Dallas itself in the '80s. However, I am new to this area.
Anyway, I was worried that the hotel is in a part of Fort Worth that I know nothing about.
What a relief!!

Default Hey, any chance that we can have one of these get together's in the Twin Cities?

Or in Chicago, or Madison Wisconsin? (To be a resident of Madison, and also be a straight ally is almost redundant)

I'd like to come to one of these gigs, but the cost of gas, and airline tickets just keeps going up.

Hope to meet some of you guys sometime, Namaste', Bruce Chris

I'm disappointed, I wasn't paying any attention at all... I assumed that this event was taking place this summer, so I was still hopeful to do some research and try to figure out how to go, or at least know for sure that the option was out.

Great pictures Jamie!
