Stephen Bennett addresses the Equality Ride
As many of you know I have been following and trying to dialog with Stephen Bennett about his show Straight Talk Radio. Todays show which I haven't heard yet, is focus on the Equality Ride. I will listen later and update my blog with any thoughts or interesting quotes.
This radio program since its start has been painting a very ugly and misinformed picture of gays and lesbians. I have sent many letters and emails to its host in an attempt to dialog with him. Jan & Stephen have this histrionic fear that the college students are weak and unprepared for the "homosexual activists." Stephen, who says he is an "ex-gay," "If I had been at Bethel and heard soulforce's message I probably would have believed it and continued a sinful lifestyle..." (paraphrase)
