Vanessa,
I viewed your blog and thought it was very insightful and wonderful. You are the best and I would love to meet you someday. How old is your daughter? I have two, a 20 year old and 17 year old. Many are the challenges of parenthood, but so are the joys. I absolutely adore my two kids and wouldn't trade them for anything. I also love my beautiful wife and have a long ways to go in completely showing her that love. I am not perfect but long for the day when we can just look at each other and know immediately what she is thinking and what she may need or want. Maybe that is too idealistic, but it is a hope. Your relationship sounds idyllic and peaceful. I wish I had that kind of existence. I am too driven and so is my wife... Maybe someday we will learn to relax and enjoy the life God has blessed us with. I am proud of you and all you stand for and accomplish for the glbt community. We are family girl!

My experience at my church, as I said in my blog, is one of the most intense of my life. And, I am hopeful and happy about how we as a congregation can create a more embracing future together. My blog: Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! It is my place to go when I want to expand my stream of consciousness mind, and really let the ideas flow. My relationship with my love has definitely been through some struggles, but oh, the payoffs have been great!! She actually read my blog for the first time this weekend, which is amazing because she is not quite the internet nut that I am!!! I love it when I have visitors to read my stuff; it humbles me in many ways...... Visit the blog often, and I also hope that in person meeting will happen in the future!!! Peace, V.
