Default I'm Gerlinde from Berlin, Germany

Hello,

I am Gerlinde but everyone calls me Linda.
I live in Berlin, Germany, and am 54 years old.
I was a member of the LDS and transsexual. Now I am a witch and live lesbianly. SteveSGU knows me. We are "favorite enemies" but I respect him.
Because of the ts I was excommunicated at the LDS church and nobody was allowed to talk with me unless to accuse me that I was be egotistical.
I am on the left politically and fight as a feminist against racism, sexism, homophobia and all other types of oppression.

Gerlinde,

Herzliche Wilkommen! (Did I get that right? I do ok in German if you can see me, because I point to things and act things out. )

I'm sorry your church excommunicated you.

How did you find Soulforce? Are you originally from Germany? Most of us live on the other side of the water.

Hi Linda !

I am Rachel ! I was recently in Frankfurt to connect to Los Angeles...flew over to London and all for spring holiday...and had to connect in Frankfurt on the way back. Germany seems a lovely country indeed !

I am teaching myself German...and so forgive me if this is not perfect !

Wilkommen und guten tag ! Wie geht es ihnen ?

I'm Wiccan, a dianic Witch to be correct.
I found this group, cause i was looking for something which SteveSGU had written. I know him, he is 200% LDS.
And Zerbie, your German sounds quite good to me. I live in Berlin, Germany.

I just wonder how many women and man here which are from the "OLD" or "NEW" Europe?
And which kind of faith they all have had and have now.
And what would dou you tell a 200% LDS woman who is lesbian, and is afraid to live it, cause her cult told it to her by a "male" authority?

Default do you mean...

'Leave it', rather than 'live it? If so, then I understand your question better.

I would tell the person you inquire about that there is a big wide world out there, outside of the walls of any particular church and it's worldview. Sure. When we are indoctrinated to believe certain things it can be hard to let go of them. But then, it's hard to get out of a position- even physically- that one has been in for a long time. One gets stiff. The mind does as well.

Time for some mental stretching.

My great grandparents came from old Europe. And I was Pentecostal during my youth. When I came out, I starting investigating other ways of thinking and began a life-long journey of spiritual practice which has involved meditation. Good stuff.

Dear Daniel,

This young woman, she is called Monja, is afraid to live her homosexuality, because this also indicates for her to leave the LDS. A sect which means security in the faith(confidence) and home for her. It is very difficult for her, and Monja would never want to accept all advice which occurs to me.

Default Blessed Be

Hello and welcome,
It's always a delight to hear from a witch. My husband is also a witch and has been a wonderful blessing to me. He has taught me so much of the old religion and we marvel at how it has been incorporated into so many aspects of the christian faith, which most christians don't even realize. Christianity most certainly has Pagan roots.

Dear Nick,

I also think that most Christians know nothing about the Pagan roots, and also don't want to know. It would destroy their faith. They don't look properly. They don't see after the roots. And they don't understand that Jesus Chris was a "matriarchal" man.

Be Blessed,

Linda

Smile Gutten Tag, Mein Frau

And that's about all of the Deutsch that I remember. I might wish you a church that practices love and not judgment, but starting your own is O.K., too.

Diana, goddess of the hunt. Definitely not a good candidate for the LDS. I hope to see you post around here again.

Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

Default I'm still alive

The last view months are very sad, cause I lost a good friend of mine by an acident. He was gay and commit suicide cause his church and his wife supressed him to be straight. I hope that he has now the peace he was looking for.
They are so many gay, lesbian and transgendered people who are 2nd class citizens in their church. who learn to hate themself and to want to "cure" themself by Aversion "Therapy".

Default that would be "meine Frau" I think

and then only if you and Gerlinde are married. You aren't are you? I mean... you would tell us ... right?

could you have meant "meine Fruendin" ... perhaps?

WELCOME GERLINDE! I too am sorry for your loss. It makes me so sad and angry when I think how many wonderful people have been pushed to do themselves harm by HATE that is masquerading as the love of God. Especially children.
