Default Contemporary Christian artists support GLBT people

I have noticed more mainstream christian recording artists supporting GLBT people. I was surfing the net and found a conference called "Our Family Matters." If I am not mistaken, this is a conferenced for Lesbians, but still focuses on the whole GLBT community. This is a christian based conference. Susan Ashton, a grammy award winning contemporary christian music artist, is one of the performers at the conference.

Also, it is know that Reba Rambo, another christian artist stands beside us with love and support. The Gaither family, which has been an anchor in the gospel music industry has also stood beside our GLBT christians. These wonderful people, I am sure have been ridiculed and demonized within the right winged christian community for their acceptance of GLBT people. With all the negative responses we get from mainline christianity, is is awsome to know that we have some brave heroes within Christiandom that stand beside us and see us as children of God.

I read the website from this conference and it looks to be very interesting. I am surprised at Susan Ashton's appearance. It is good to see however.

I hadn't seen that. Good news, indeed.
