Default I have reservations about this

VACATION!!!!!!

I just made reservations to take my teenagers to the beach! We'll be in Rehoboth Beach Delaware the last week in June! woo hoo!

We did this trip last year and they loved it. 2 years ago we went to Wildwood and Cape May NJ.

the week before, I'll be taking my youngest to church camp with me, where I'll be a counselor.

*can I borrow some money?

Default I am so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keltic: I will be longing for the beach while you are there sunning it up. Have a great time. We went last year to Rehoboth for the first time in years, this time with our daughter, and I had forgotten how homey if feels there. I really loved it. My girls are headed to Cape Cod in July (I can't make that trip because of work) and then we are all going to Outer Banks at the end of September.

Something about the open Atlantic and a quiet beach that puts it all in perspective........

Default Family week at P-town

Did you know that Provincetown has a week every summer for gay families? Forums, activities, etc. for a whole week for parents and kids. I really want to get there some year, we just haven't been able to swing it so far.

Default yay Cape Cod!

My gf and I are planning to go to Cape Cod, too, sometime this summer to visit my grandmother - a wonderfully liberal woman who likes good company.

I haven't visited Provincetown since I came out, but I'd really like to. When I last visited, I remember being interested in the stores that sold pride items, but didn't want to be seen checking them out because I wasn't comfortable yet....

Any idea when the family pride weekend will be this summer??

Default Reservations and a Vacation

Okay, well, I'm going to go ahead and admit this - I'm very excited as my girlfriend and I have plane tickets and a hotel to Chicago in July for the Gay Games. We will actually arrive prior, to jaunt around the city and check out her old alma mater Northwestern U - but will attend opening ceremonies and be there for games the first couple of days and maybe a party or two. I've never been to Chicago so it's doubly exciting for me. She lived there for almost 3 years so will have my own personal tour guide!

The only thing is, I travel so much for work that getting on another plane won't be too appealing, but since it's with her, will be much better than the travel I do alone.
