Hello - I am the man who has shared LC's life for thirty years. He is five years older than I, and was part of the legal team for the diocese when I met him.
Yesterday, the biopsy revealed that he has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. We are beginning the chemotherapeutic protocols next week. They removed the tumour the size of a "racketball". My guy is such a jock, and our surgeon is a friend who plays racketball with him on a weekly basis. Our toddler son and I are so fortunate to have the spouse and father we have. He is such a witty, compassionate and positive individual that I have ever known. Your continued prayers is requested. Asked what film he wanted to see last night - he looked at both of us and said......" any film with Yul Brynner or any other sexy bald pate...." |

Hi Libbish,
My prayers are with you, your beloved, and son. Facing this sort of thing take courage and a bit of humor perhaps. Why do I think you've got both those things in spades? Many blessing to you. And a big hug from a younger man.
