I would just like to say I went to OBU today and spoke to some of the equality riders and sat and listened towhat they had to say and I as a gay manin Arkansas am very proud of what this organization is doing and the courage and strength these young people have to do this day in and out. Thank You for all your hard work and there are more people that appreciate it in Arkansas than you know. Harold

Hi Harold,
Glad you were able to find our forums. I hope you get in on some of the discussions. I was particularly devastated by the Act 1 decision...most major news outlets had it losing. It was by far the most hateful measure on any ballot in the entire country. I am dismayed and already worried it is going to spread to Texas. I lived for a short time very close to Arkansas (well actually about 2 hours from it). I grew up in Dallas. Our Equality state organization, Equality Texas, seems to be bracing now for a similar measure. I hope this is just paranoia. K |
