Default Hello, my name is Elaine (or tbunni)

I just saw the documentary on LOGO, and was profoundly moved. While I am now pagan, I was raised very Christian, by true Christian parents. I (and they) attended George Fox College in Newberg, OR. I was never comfortable with that religion, and have happily found my self & my God & Goddess. And while I am straight, I have so many friends who are LGBT, and have heard so many stories of what they have been through. Even though I am not a Christian, it pains me to see supposed followers of Jesus treating people so badly. I felt out of place in my old church - I can only imagine how bad it must be to be in the right place (church) and still not feel loved. However the people at the colleges treat you, please know that you ARE doing God's work.

Blessed Be.
Elaine

Welcome, Elaine.

We are always happy when straight allies join our forums. This is not specifically a Christian site, and there are many active pagans on this board.

Soulforce exists to counter through nonviolent protest the homophobia endemic in organized religion in the United States and the world.

You are more than welcome here.

Merry meet! Would love for you to stick around! You are most welcome here, whatever your religious beliefs.
