Prayers are with you, my friend. I am so sorry that you have to deal with kind of spiritual terrorism from your family. You are not alone in this struggle, however.
I loved your response. It was brave and straightforward. I hope you do show up at the reunion proud as ever that you are an authentic Christian and servant of God. I pray that your family sees you as that above all the rest, and learns to accepts you as you are, not who they want you to be. |

I forwarded a copy of her email to her "boyfriend" (he's been like a dad to me since I was 12 and loves her... but she has issues with marriage--divorced twice).
He responded with. "I love you. I'll see you at the reunion. Alan." That guy is awesome.
