Default I'm Tired............

here's what I did this afternoon with my 7yo son:

2.5 mile walk around the Twin Lakes....

plus an hour on the pedalboats!

yeah, we could actually see the trout and the sunfish in the lake as we pedalled around.

Great Day!

Default And I just read stuff on the 'net for most of the day,

and went for a bike ride, but then, I'm pretty much of a bookworm anyway.

What beautiful pics. Sounds like you had a great day!

What did we do in deserted Manhattan? (It's actually nice here when everyone leaves town) Saw X-Men: The Last Stand Friday night (so-so but fun) and And Inconvenient Truth (very good) Saturday night. The latter has us thinking about getting solar panels on top of our building.

Keltic, that place is gorgeous! We did nothing that exciting - our Friday nite 'date' consisted of dinner at a favorite haunt and a movie - Mission Impossible III which was excellent. Going to see the DaVinci Code soon.

We are blessed here in Sacramento to be only a couple hours drive from the coast, and a few more hours will get us to the wild northern coast. My fav place to be.

You would probably love it where I am, at least in the summer. Right on the Puget Sound in Washington... amazing, even on a gray day like today.

From pics I've seen it's beautiful there Jennifer. I'm a birdwatcher and the birds are great in the Puget Sound area. Someday my hope is to get there and do some birding and sightseeing. You live in a lovely place!!

You really would like it. I hope you get a chance to explore around here... there's the city and there's the country... and all so close together!

Jennifer, I do a lot of traveling for work, so its likely I'll get to Washington in the near future - unsure of exactly where tho, probably Seattle.

Off to Wisconsin in a week, might try to scope out some birdwatching sites there and definitely try the cheese!

Sounds like fun tdogg.... what do you do for a living again? I'm going to want to know how that trip goes. What have you done on this long weekend?

I'm an auditor for the California Dept of Insurance. It's interesting but the traveling does get a bit old. Hopefully I'll be in the office all of July and most of August to play catch up!

This weekend went to dinner and movie with my GF/partner - saw Mission Impossible III - it was great. Worked out at the gym. Had a BBQ with GF's parents at our house. Took a long nap one day (jet lag). That's about it!

You?
