Straight Advocates - Two Books

I want to make sure that the Soulforce community is aware that there is a second edition, just out, of Jack Rogers' "Jesus, the Bible, and Homosexuality." It has a new chapter 8, ""All Are One in Jesus Christ." Chapter 7 has been updated to include information about the efforts by advocates in the PCUSA to change ordination rules and other LGBT issues.

A second recent book is Donald Kraus' " "Sex, Sacrifice, Shame, & Smiting." My wife, who read it first, suggested that I start with the last chapter, "Community" before reading the rest. In reading it, I was reminded of John 17:11, 20-23, in which we are called to unity, not just among ourselves, but with the Father and the Son (and, by implication) with the not yet revealed Spirit. There is unity in the Trinity, but there would be no point in the three Persons if there was full uniformity. Some teach us that we should “be more like Jesus.” He calls us to unity with Him, the Father, and one another so that the world will know that He was sent by the Father. No wonder the world has difficulty hearing our message when we disrespect and exclude one another.

I have permission from the author and his publisher to share an Acrobat file of this chapter as long as I point out a few places where it can be purchased. Are there members of this forum with whom I can share it? Would it be within the forum guidelines to attach the Acrobat file with added links to sources to an edited version of this message?
