I actually really like rainy days: I like falling asleep to the rhythmic trickle, I like sitting on the porch to watch lightening storms, and when the mood strikes me I'm not above going out and frolicking (you're never too old to frolick!).
When it's cold and rainy, I definitely want to stay in (DVDs are good), but I still love the sound of it. It also makes for good tea-and-reading weather.

Default cut from the same cloth

I'm with you Alecto. I love rainy stormy days for all the same reasons. I wouldn't want them ALL THE TIME, but I do love them.

And I think I might have been in a "glass-quarter-full" kinda mood too, but yeah. (Cause the COLD is still COLD and it's bothering me today)

I understand your feelings.
I was SO excited that the weather was getting nicer, then it got crappy again. It was under 40 this afternoon . Bring 70 back!! Gray is crap, I'm ready for summer!

Exactly how does one frolick? I've heard that term used before but I never knew what it meant.

I think it's like dancing with no music?
:: pauses to look it up::
m-w.com: "To play and run about happily". Maybe it's like the radical faeries: if you think you're frolicking, you probably are.

If you've ever seen little tiny baby lambs or kids or piglets running around jumping and twisting in the air you have seen frolicking.

It was 71 degrees here today in New York. It's suppose to be in the 80's over the next three days. Spring can be like Jekyll and Hyde; sunny and warm one day, cold and rainy the next.
