Today, Reform Jewish Leaders in New York State sent a letter to Governor Patterson, promoting clearly our vigorous support of equal rights including equal marriage. Our religious values teach love and respect for all of humankind and that all people are created b'tselem Elohim, in the Divine image, deserving of tolerance, respect, love and equality.

On April 16, 2009 Governor Paterson introduced a marriage equality program bill in the NYS legislature. It is extremely important that you contact your legislators now to urge them to co-sponsor the bill and vote for marriage equality.
