Default 40 Years After Stonewall

A wonderful discussion on KQED/Forum this morning with a great history of the Gay Rights Movement.

"This Saturday marks the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, a turning point in the LGBT struggle for recognition and justice. We look back at this historical uprising and examine how the current landscape has been transformed by the work of LGBT activists nationwide. Also, we'll get an update on the proposed federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act, reintroduced in Congress on Wednesday, which seeks to prevent workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity."
