http://www.advocate.com/News/Daily_N...er_Reinstated/ This speaks to how powerful it is when two or more are gathered: "According to WXIA-TV in Atlanta, although the ELCA removed Schemling, his supportive congregation at the Midtown Atlanta church voted to keep him as a pastor without portfolio for three years."

It is a joy to see justice finally being practiced. I applaud the ELCA for being willing to take an affirming stand and reinstating these two men. Within a year's time both the ELCA and the Episcopal church have made it an official policy to be affirming. The ELCA is the largest church body in the US to date to support gay rights. More denominations will follow.
