What can I say? As a Golden Girls fan, I'm just heartbroken to lose another one of the girls.
Growing up, the girls were always there to make me laugh--Blanche's numerous sexual escapades, Dorothy sticking in a cookie in Sophia's mouth to keep her from hurling an insult and threatening to take her to *the home*, Rose's St. Olaf stories... not to mention the brave territory this TV show covered in discussing gay issues and AIDS with compassion and understanding. Even today, when I'm down and out, I can laugh and forget my problems by putting in a Golden Girls DVD. Rest in peace, Rue, and Estelle and Bea... you are missed and loved. ----<---@

I didn't watch the 'Golden Girls' that much but I remember Rue's character as a live wire. Maybe that why I remember Rue the best.
