Default New York City Pride

This past Sunday, I marched in the pride parade. It was my second time doing so. The route was shortened by several blocks but it did not dampen the spirits of the marchers and spectators.

As we paraded down Fifth Avenue the spectators cheered and applauded. To me I believe that the public don't have much problems with LGBT people. Many really don't know much about it. It was wonderful seeing all the rainbow flags and people enjoying the day. I was most proud of the transman ahead of me who marched barechested. I admired him for his courage.

I will write in another post about some of the feelings that I have about parades and what it means to us.
