I've always thought it was only the homophobic ones who said that gay people were recruiters, trying to seduce the innocent ones into their lives of lust and sin. However, I saw a bumper sticker today with a rainbow backround and one word on it - "RECRUITER".
Did I miss something???

I think it's part of the phenomena of things we're talking about in other threads. The idea of shocking those who are prim and "proper." In this case, it's taking a negative appellation and claiming it as one's own, tongue-in-cheek.
Here's another example (see attachment) I believe the bumper sticker references something that Pat Robertson said. |

I would take that bumper sticker as a case of humor/sarcasm myself. But that's because I'm basically a goof much of the time. I doubt if the person is using it in a negative way towards gays/lesbians tho.
Think I read this on one of the threads here - but I was thinkin' this would be a good bumpersticker: Save family values, ban heterosexual marriage. Now, back to our BBQ!! |

It's true... all about your personal point of view.

That bumper sticker was priceless. I also like the one about saving family values and banning heterosexual marriage. I needed a good laugh. btw, liked your afternoon pics with your 7yo. I bet he enjoyed it too. You are a good dad, Keltic.
