Hello, my name is Emily, I'm 21. I'm christian, I grew up in a christian family but gave my life to Jesus at the age of 8. I'm hereosexual, and in a happy relationship, but have been fightying the rights homosexuals for some time now.

I'm currently doing leader training with my church, as well as studying the bible, and attempting, with my best ability, to learn greek and hebrew.

I first got into bible studies when I saw a documentary on the "westboro baptist church" I was extreemly upset to see them using such offence terms as "Faggot" which brings a bad taste to my mouth. Dare I quote at them such verses as "let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is good for building others up, so that it may help those who listen" ephesians 4: 29 or maybe "why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brothes eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye" matthew 7:3

Basically, everyone has the right to love. I certainly think people need to stop judging each other too, because judging is a sin, loving is not.

Hi Emily and welcome. I enjoyed reading your wonderful introduction and you are so right. Judging and putting down folks who are different is wrong and unchristian.
