Hey Everyone,
My name is Calvin. I'm a recent college graduate from Tennessee and now I'm headed to Louisville to be an Acting Apprentice at the Actors Theatre of Louisville!
I came out to my mother about 2 years ago and have been having the hardest time reconciling my faith and orientation. I go through waves of acceptance and denial. Any prayers or advice you could offer would be very much appreciated. I think I have just about exhausted my options in terms of resources as I've done a ton of research and nothing seems to be settling with me.

Hi Calvin,

I found books to be most helpful to me when I was shedding my deeply ingrained beliefs on the incompatibility of Christianity and being gay. The best books for me were Stranger at the Gate by Mel White, The Good Book by Peter Gomes and Is the Homosexual my Neighbor by Virginian Ramsey Mellenkott (Not 100% sure of that name).
