2. SOME SOCIO-BIO-DATA TO 2010

I have been married twice: 8 and 35 years, respectively. As of 2010 my Tasmanian wife is aged 64. We’ve had one child: age 33. I have two step-children ages: 43 and 40 and two step-grandchildren ages: 17 and 14. I am 66, a Canadian who moved to Australia in 1971 and have written several books--all available on the internet. I retired from full-time teaching in 1999, part-time teaching in 2003 and voluneeer teaching/work in 2005 after 35 years in classrooms. In addition, I have been a member of the Baha’i Faith for 51 years. Bio-data: 6ft, 230 lbs, eyes-brown/hair-grey, Caucasian. The main thing I want out of this site and the main thing I have to contribute is the same thing at most of the sites I post on--dialogue. I am a retired teacher and spend most of my time writing. The folks at some internet sites are very responsive and much dialogue ensues and other sites are less so. I don't have a lot of time to post, but I drop in occasionally to read and possibly exchange a view or two.-Ron Price, Tasmania.

Our opening song in our services mentions Bahá'u'lláh. We share many core beliefs with the Baha'i. We had delegates attend the Parliament of The World's Religions in Melbourne last month. I get to meet them tomorrow night.

The internet is a marvellous publishing mechanism as well as a tool for interaction. recently I've been 'into' writing and publishing. Hence: I've not dropped in here as often as I'd like. Perhaps in the next few years this pattern will change.-Ron
