Hello From delaware
Hello!
My partner and I live in Millsboro, Delaware. We have an 8 year old son who we adopted from the Ukraine 4 1/2 years ago. We also have 2 dogs (Daisy and Buddy) 2 turtles (Milty and Pedro) and one skunk named Petunia.  We have two very successful Business's in Delaware and are very grateful. We are glad for sites such as Soulforce. Ring wing religious freaks like James Dobson  "Focus on the family" really make our blood curdle as well as George Bush and his followers. My two oldest siblings are born again Christians  who are against Gays because of the way they violate the scriptures in the Bible. They have caused much division within my family of origin. I recently watched the video with Rev. Dr. Mel White on Soulforce videos. WOW!! That is a powerful sermon. I will be playing it for my mother before my sister's ruin her mind also. Videos and other material like this is a must to help let the world know what is really going on! Someone else who is excellent, and who really knows what is going on is John Bradshaw. He is the man!  Check out bradshawcassettes.com and look for the cassette on "Religious adiction" That will set anyone straight (pardon the pun) what the religious right is all about. Bradshaw explains just how distorted those people really are! I have been on an endless search for answers ever since my sisters have abused my mind with their religon. Once again, I thought Rev. Dr. Mel White's sermon on "How can you be sure God loves me?" was very powerful. God be with all of us in our ongoing fight toward equality.PEACE!! srspring Family in Delaware

Not listed in the March but do plan to contribute..
Thanks to everyone for the welcome. This seems to be a great site! It is sad to read the confusion and pain in some of the post where people have been abused by society. What is wrong with people just letting other people live their lives? When I see all the problems in the world such as animal abuse, global warming, drugs, guns, gangs... I can't see why certain groups spend so much energy on worrying about me and my Gay family and all other GLBT persons I really think that the sermon by Rev. Welcome Srspring. It sounds like you have a fairly well rounded life, all in all. Have ya gotta white picket fence to go with all that other stuff?
It's a shame to hear about the unpleasant trearment that you are getting from some of your family. It is a shame that some Christians sometimes forget that God's grace is freely granted to all.  Peace and Love, BruceChris
