Support The New Episcopal Presiding Bishop

My dear brothers and sisters,

The election of the bishop of NV to the presiding bishop of ECUSA has finally put a national Christian leader clearly on the side of a gay-affirming Christian statement without any equivocation or stipulation. The Holy Spirit is guiding the steps of this right honourable and reverend lady.

Now, you can imagine the firestorm that her comments will generate throughout the Anglican Communion, let alone the rest of homophobic Christendom.

In my other essay on the spiritual mission for the third Christian millennium, I suggested that gay and gay-affirming Christians need to support by membership or communicant status those national or local bodies who make the positive sexual theological truths without prejudice.

It is difficult to become a Christian pilgrim, leaving the cradle faith or less, leaving the jurisdiction, but not the Faith. Any search engine will provide one with gay-affirming churches who are welcoming and supportive. Parents and other family have difficulty in accepting your migration to another part of the Body of Christ who have fully incorporated the Great Decalogue in their hearts, minds, hearts and words.

You must however consider the need to support those parts of Christ's Church who have listened to the murmurings of the Holy Spirit for Truth and Justice.
