Thumbs up 1000 Watt march, vigil, and concert!!!!

now that we're only about a month away... does anyone else have plans to be there???

I know this question has been asked before but as we're getting closer I'm asking it again....

I'll be there on the 22 with my dad , and sister.... and I'm just really excited that I'll get to meet some of you in person!!!

Who else???

Default Honeymooning in Colorado Springs

My husband-to-be and I will be there! Jim and I are hoping to legally tie the knot in Toronto in early July and travel later on to Colorado Springs. We are anxiously awaiting paperwork--a little more complicated in our case, since Jim was married and divorced back in the early 1980's. Ontario requires that a Canadian attorney write an opinion on the legitimacy of any prior divorce which must then be approved by a government office in Thunder Bay. Our attorney's first attempt was rejected and she has submitted a revised opinion. Technicalities--it will go through eventually (marriage law in Ontario is another one of those "Attorneys' Full-Employment Acts"). If the paperwork doesn't come through by early July, we'll need to defer the wedding until later in the summer. Well, at least we'll be assured by the Province of Ontario that we aren't guilty of bigamy!

We'll be staying at a campground near Colorado Springs, and we'll probably be volunteering during the week doing gofer work (like Schoolboi). We're one of the families marching. If you check out the family pictures on this website you'll see pictures of Jim & I and our daughters and grandbaby.

It's hard to believe that after almost a year of planning, it's now time for us to be in Colorado Springs. Looking forward to seeing my Soulforce family again. It's been way too long. We will needs lot of help, so if you have time make sure you let me know that you are available. I'm flying in on Sunday the 16th and will be there all week. Kara

As I find out more information on where we're staying and everything, I'd love to see if that would work out!

My best friend in high school was 4'11. So I know the feeling. People always called us "mutt and jeff".

I made a JPEG of the Vigil Flyer so it can be posted on myspace and other online communities.

Here's the address: http://nateblack.us/1000wattevent.jpg

I've already posted as a bulletin and as a blog on my myspace.com profile.

Here's the graphic:

Hubby planned our vacation trip months ago, and we just get home the week before. The main problem being we are spending so much right now, we couldn't afford another trip, since we'll also be paying for home repairs this summer.

Default Special meeting for forum members

Kara suggested that during our time in Colorado we have a special meeting on Saturday for forum members to meet up. I'll let you know the time and place! If you have suggestions on what might be fun to do...
