Default In Theocon America, It Is Time To Circle The Wagons....

This is the Ultraliberal spouse

Well, now WA has joined the rest of the "activist US judiciary" and voted the way of the theocon Right Wing...regardless of their former liberal or progressive views.

John Wayne, the right wing icon with the given name of Marion, used to always encircle the wagon train when attacked by " them savages " - referring of course to the Native Peoples whose lands they raped and stole.
Of course, we Canadians did the same to our Aboriginal citizens....but today there is a new province of Canada that speaks to our 21st century amendments.

You should read the extreme right wing theocon blogs. It is simple to do. Just lurk and scream at the computer without letting your fingers go bezerk.
They are concentrating on MA - whom they call Ground Zero. The GOP will most probably nominate the hypocrite and pragmatic John McCain and he needs a RINO for veep....and that LDS hopeful is Mitt Romney of MA..outgoing governor of MA not seeking re-election. The millions of dollars will be spent on eliminating any and all protections.

While LGBT efforts are split in twenty competing organisations - the FOF are pun intended "focused" like a laser on our issues.....marriage and children by adoption or surrogacy. In MA, the two major LBGT organisations are fighting with each other as much as with the FOF and their local surrogates. As Canadians , we find this very sad indeed.

Ok...here's my suggestion:

We have got to get the wedding industry to go to bat for us in Washington. As expensive as weddings are in the United States, you'd think that all manner of wedding service vendors would be interested in funding, and lobbying for, what would amount to a significant increase in their business interests by promoting gay marriage.

So who's got their finger on the pulse of the American Wedding?

Hmmm...

(this is silly isn't it?)
