Thanks for your interest in joining the Hit The Road campaign and supporting the Equality Ride as a virtual rider. To join the campaign, please fill out the form below for yourself or your organization. Your submission will be processed in about 48 hours. When your rider page is ready to go you will get an email containing a special link to your page to share on all of your web and social media resources. In addition this email will contain downloadable resource to help you get started on your campaign. Once your virtual rider page is active we will send you periodic updates about your progress and additional ideas to promote your journey!
When you complete this form you will be directed to a page where you can make your initial donation of at least $100. This campaign begins with an opening donation of $100 and we encourage every virtual rider to set a goal of raising at least $1,000. We want the Hit The Road campaign to be accessible to everyone. While we encourage you to make your opening donation as part of the application process, we will allow the first $100 to be applied at any time during the first 2 weeks of participation. If at the 2 week point the minimum contribution hasn’t been met we will close the virtual rider page, but you will be able to reapply in the future. The opening donation can come from anyone interested in helping you along your campaign journey!
Remember that being a member of the Hit The Road campaign will give you special content and behind the scenes moments from the 2012 Equality Ride. We will send you post cards, pictures, and videos from the road, and keep you updated about the planning process until the launch in March of 2012.
Groups/Individuals who reach $1,000 by the launch of the 2012 Equality Ride will have their name displayed on the bus.
