Queer Hike is a project by the collaborative efforts of the San Gabriel Mountains Forever Leadership Academy and Soulforce. The goal of Queer Hike is to create and provide a space to learn and share about issues such as race, sexuality, gender, justice, and intersectionality (between those issues). Hike: Orientation! Soulforce engages the schools, churches, and political organizations that hold religion as a buttress to racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia and other forms of oppression.
