Hello, my name is Natasha. I’m a crew member at the Equality Ride House because some of the people I love the most are current students at Christian colleges. When I went to Biola University, I struggled deeply with coming to terms with my faith and sexuality. My experience as a lesbian on campus taught me that at many Christian colleges, Christianity is weaponized against LGBTQ individuals, people of color, and members of other marginalized communities. Despite this, I believe students can reclaim their faith and make their campuses more safe and just for everyone.

*When you support Natasha, you are providing housing, training, food, transportation, printing, and staff support to a group of powerful activists creating a home for people in Southern California who live, breathe, work, and study in hostile fundamentalist contexts. Thanks for making Soulforce come alive in new ways through the Equality Ride program.

Soulforce works to end the political and religious oppression of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex people through relentless nonviolent resistance.
